Andy Prothero's teaching philosophy centres on collaborative learning, providing students with the necessary directions to help enable lifelong, student-centred learning; fostering student engagement within and outside the classroom; and developing independent learners and critical thinkers - central components of of UCD's Education Strategy. Innovation and Leadership Leadership in teaching and learning must focus on curriculum and programme design, which take on board issues of programme content and programme delivery. I have made significant leadership contributions within the School of Business by leading the reform of our undergraduate business programmes; developing visionary, new and innovative modules; and taking a leadership role in addressing contemporary debates in relation to what and how we teach our students.
