Audrey Plan

Audrey is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, on the ERC-funded project RIGHTS TO UNITE lead by Professor Dagmar Schiek. She previously completed a PhD in Political Science at Trinity College Dublin, with dual supervision from the Law Department. This interdisciplinary project on the strategic international dialogue of European courts in the field of Human Rights, which received funding from Trinity's Provost PhD Award and the Irish Research Council Postgraduate Research Award. She has worked as a tutor and head tutor in International Relations, and as Lecturer on International Courts at TCD, a course for which she developed a new syllabus with a focus on innovative and inclusive teaching and learning methods. She has also supervised an MSc Dissertation on International Human Rights in Southeast Asia, and was a Visiting Scholar at University of Copenhaguen's iCourts research center in 2023. She has received awards for both my research (IALT Matheson Postgraduate Scholarship 2022, Provost Award, IRC funding) and teaching (TRISS Postgraduate Teaching Award 2022, nominated for Trinity-wide teaching award).
Audrey holds a Bachelors in Law With Honors and a Diploma in American Law with High Honors (UCA, France), an MSc in International and European Studies with High Honors, (UPPA, France), a PhD in Political Science (TCD, Ireland), and has experience in international legal advocacy for children's rights in an NGO.
