BIO

Barbara Craig - B.A. BMus (Hons) ALCM MPhil joined UCD as an Executive Assistant on 5th June 2007 and is a permanent member of staff. Barbara completed her undergraduate (B.A/B Mus bachelor’s degree) specializing in Music Composition and Technology from Trinity College Dublin in 2003. This was a four-year undergraduate degree. She continued with her studies to graduate with a postgraduate (M Phil master's degree) from Trinity College Dublin in 2005 specializing in Maths (91%) and C++ Programming - this was a two-year degree where in the first year she was awarded with a Higher diploma in teaching. She is also a member of the MMT alumni in Ireland having contributed musically and computationally. Prior to her appointment in UCD, she was an I.T. Technical Transaction specialist in Microsoft. Currently, Barbara is the Executive Assistant for the School of Geography. Prior to moving to the School of Geography, Barbara started her career in UCD in the main Planning Office, Richview where the School of Geography was previously connected. The entire department was restructured in 2014 and Barbara moved over into the centre of the campus to work for the School of Geography and can be found in the main office, Newman building - E002.
