As Chairperson of APPI at the time I participated in the setting up of the Psychological Therapies Forum, an initiative recommended by the Minister of State with responsibility for the Mental Health Services, Tim O’Malley, T.D to prepare for the Health and Social Care Professionals Act (2005).

A VISION FOR CHANGE (2006): I contributed to the submission from APPI to the Expert Group on the Mental Health Services, who subsequently published the A Vision for Change policy document 2006, the document guiding the delivery of mental health treatment in Ireland.
