TEACHING ACTIVITIES

To achieve the characteristics expected from highly qualified Chemical Engineering graduates, I seek to move away from traditional modes of imparting information, while at the same time ensuring my courses reflect the latest developments in Engineering education and practice in both Europe and the USA. Innovation and Leadership I have a long track record of Innovation and Leadership in Teaching and Learning, developing new programmes, significantly revising existing ones. I have had leadership roles in some of the most significant T&L developments in the history of UCD, including modularisation, semesterisation and UCD Horizons. I have played and continue to play leadership roles in Chemical Engineering education in Ireland and Europe.
