BIO
My research focuses on planetary, glacial and periglacial geomorphology, including palaeohydrology, seabed and sea level change. My planetary research focus is on periglacial and glacial landforms on Mars, with the aim of better understanding these landscape elements as climatically sensitive reservoirs of water. My terrestrial research is aimed at understanding deglacial events that occurred in Ireland's major glacial meltwater systems at the end of the Pleistocene, in particular trying to quantify, characterise and understand landscape evolution during periods of environmental transition, in particular in response to deglacial events and sea level change.
