TEACHING INTERESTS

My teaching philosophy focuses not only on coverage of problem solving techniques and theories of quantitative finance but also on the skillset required to apply these methods for effective decision making in information rich financial markets. Innovation and Leadership I believe that traditional teaching and learning methods should be interspersed with more modern T&L methods such as simulations, software implementation of examples and active group learning. I also believe that lecturers should be encouraged to consider the overall contribution their modules make to each programme and how to optimise the learning experiences for the students and staff alike.
