BIO

Craig is Assistant Professor of Regulatory Affairs & Toxicology. His primary areas of expertise are toxicology, public safety and regulatory affairs. He is also a biomedical researcher focusing on the application of novel genomics and toxicogenomics approaches in regulatory toxicology with emphasis on carcinogenesis and carcinogenicity screening, toxicity assay development (as alternatives to animal methods), epithelial biology and physiology, diabetes, renal biology and drug-induced toxicities.

Craig is an experienced educator and lecturer in pharmacology and related disciplines including renal pharmacology, toxicology, health and safety, diabetes and diabetic complications, chemotherapeutic agents and principles of infection.

I am also an experienced science communications and outreach ambassador, specialising in communicating complex scientific and medical information to the general public across all media platforms, and in providing training to other scientists who wish to do the same.

Craig is a registered toxicologist on the Irish and European Registers (IRT / ERT).
