MrsDenise O'Callaghan

Denise O'Callaghan is the Physiotherapy Practice Education Coordinator in the School of Public Health, Physiotherapy, and Sports Science at University College Dublin. She is a CORU registered physiotherapist, graduating from University College Dublin in 1997 with a BSc in Physiotherapy. She also holds a MSc in Sports Physiotherapy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Innovation & Creativity in Education.

She has over 20 years of clinical experience as a physiotherapist, working in a wide range of clinical settings, both in the public and private sectors, here in Ireland and in Australia, including acute & rehabilitation hospitals, primary care and private practice settings. She also has extensive experience supporting both students and educators in the clincial enviroment in her role of Practice Tutor.

Denise coordinates a number of practice education modules in both BSc and Professional Masters in Physiotherapy programmes.
