Eszter obtained her M.Sc at Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest, Hungary) and her Ph.D. from UCD, working with Prof. Stephen Daly. Her research focused on the age and development of the deep crust of the Scottish Midland Valley. After completing her Ph.D. she continued working at UCD as a SFI-funded postdoc, and she has been working on lower crustal xenoliths from central Ireland, especially their possible involvement in base metal mineralization. Eszter joined iCRAG in June 2016 as a postdoc researcher of iCRAG geochemistry platform, where she is responsible for laser-ablation techniques and developing new methods for isotopic analysis.Outside her lab, she likes good food, hiking, cycling, latin dances and martial arts.
