TEACHING ACTIVITIES
Florian Ponty taught French language and literature at Western University (Canada) between 2018 and 2023. He began as a French language instructor for beginners (2018–2019), then worked as a graduate teaching assistant, teaching intermediate French that combined grammar and vocabulary with textual analysis and essay writing on literary works (2019–2021). In 2022–2023, he taught a broad survey of French literary history, from the Middle Ages to the present, together with literary analysis. In 2026, he passed the CAPES in Occitan, the French national competitive examination for teaching in secondary schools.
