A deep approach to learning, the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills, are key to a successful professional programme. I am an enthusiastic teacher and this is key to encouraging student engagement and willingness to learn. I am committed to exploring and testing new teaching and assessment approaches. Innovation and Leadership I have led the introduction of innovative teaching approaches to Diagnostic Imaging programmes within the SMMS. One priority area has been the introduction of e-learning alongside traditional teaching methods and the development of stand-alone online modules/programmes. I led the design and delivery of fully online undergraduate and graduate programmes aimed at dental professionals in conjunction with UCC and TCD. Under my guidance, we have introduced over 10 new graduate programmes a number of which have led to significant international growth.
