RESEARCH INTERESTS
His research interests are primarily in the area of agricultural trade law in both the World Trade Organization and the EU in which he has published extensively and in the area of the EU's Development Cooperation Policy, with particular interest in the relationship with the African, Caribbean and Pacific countries.
He has supervised to completion a number of doctoral students on topics such as Special and Differential Treatment; Competition Regulation and Policy in the WTO; WTO Dispute Settlement and Judicial Interaction; Trade in Dual Use Technology; and, Food Standards in Trade between China and the European Union.
