Kathy is successful in combining an academic career with practical contributions to the development of management consulting in managing the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School M. Sc. in Management Consultancy programme.

I have worked on a voluntary basis with a number of charities and non-profits, delivering strategy workshops to identify priorities and establish working groups. Charities who have participated to date include the Childrens Educational Development Fund (CEDF) and CanTeen Ireland.�

The initials CMC following a consultant's name, indicate that he or she is a Certified Management Consultant and meets the strict certification requirements of the IMCA which are based on world class standards of competence, ethics and independence set by the ICMCI (International Council of Management Consultancy Institutes)

Working on an Associate basis with Innovo, I designed and delivered a Global Business course on the Enterprise Evolution Programme, which was run in conjunction with IT Tallaght under the Labour Market Activation Fund.�

I work on an Associate basis with 3rdi on the design and delivery of programmes primarily targeted at SMEs and Owner / Managers. Examples include:Writing Winning Business Proposals: Designed and delivered this programme that was delivered through the Small Firms Association (SFA) Centre of Excellence;Professional Skills for Graduates: Designed and delivered a programme to prepare students at DIT Cathal Brugha Street for their 6 month company internships.�
