Dr Murphy graduated from University College Dublin in 2011. Following Basic Specialist Training in Ireland, she completed a fellowship in Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure at the Mayo Clinic, Arizona. In 2022 she was appointed Consultant Cardiologist at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, specialising in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. Her other interests include Cardio-Oncology, Cardio-Obstetrics and Cardiac Amlyoidosis
