My aim is to facilitate optimal student learning through the opening of minds. The transfer of knowledge is best achieved if the student is stimulated to learn. Identifying the listeners one is communicating with is of paramount importance in order to facilitate learning by all students. Innovation and Leadership I have built world class courses for undergraduate and post graduate students at UCD using my leadership position in Biotechnology. I have won a UCD Presidents teaching grant to implement new teaching techniques for undergraduate students. I have hosted students under the ERASMUS programme and from the University of Muenster to promote UCD as a internationally attractive place for higher education.
