DrLaura Cunningham

Laura's research themes focus on asymmetric catalysis and the exploitation of supramolecular phenomina to create novel, sustainable approaches to synthetic organic chemistry. Her group's work leverages surfactant self-assembly to replace organic solvents with water, improve catalyst recycling and access entirely new technologies for chemical reactions. Laura's group are developing novel families of biodegradable and renewable surfactant scaffolds, as well as chiral macrocycles for asymmetric synthesis.
