RESEARCH INTERESTS

Critical social and cultural theory; capitalism and contemporary capitalist societies; identity; political theory; ideology, language and discourse; equality studies. An interest in equality, and in dominant and residual cultural and political responses to inequalities, animates and connects all my work. In short, 'cultural studies for equality studies'.
