BIO

I am a microbiologist with over ten years of research experience in antimicrobial resistance, bacterial stress responses, and biofilm biology. My work focuses on understanding microbial survival mechanisms and developing sustainable strategies to control biofilms in medical and industrial environments.

I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in the School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering at University College Dublin. My research investigates the antibacterial and antibiofilm activity of natural deep eutectic solvents (NADES) and their potential application as environmentally compatible antimicrobial agents. My work combines microbiology, biomaterial–microbe interaction studies, and advanced biofilm models to evaluate antimicrobial performance under realistic conditions.

I have authored several peer-reviewed publications in internationally recognised journals and have presented my research at international microbiology conferences.
