The General Assembly witnessed the handover of the ASPHER Presidency from Professor Henrique Barros (Institute of Public Health, University of Porto) who was the driver behind the concept of the ASPHER Congress, to Professor Mary Codd (School of Public Health, Physiotherapy & Sport Science, University College Dublin), who will take forward the year of ASPHER Anniversary celebrations. With this, ASPHER thanks Henrique Barros for his service and wishes luck to Mary Codd in continuing accelerating Public Health.
