TEACHING ACTIVITIES
As a nursing academic it is important to me that students are enthused about, and engage in, robust scholarship to support and guide best clinical practice. My teaching philosophy is grounded in social realism and stems from my belief that enthusiasm for professional knowledge and scholarship is a dynamic process. Innovation and Leadership Throughout my career in UCD, I have held a number of roles, where I have provided strategic leadership to support and enhance the student experience, whilst also providing strategic management and vision for the development and operationalisation of nursing and health care professional education at both undergraduate and post graduate level.
