BIO

Miguel is a Lecturer in Business Analytics, in the UCD School of Business. He received a BSc in Belgium, followed by a BSc, MSc and PhD in the University of Limerick. He then worked as an Expert Engineer in the INRIA Institute in Paris, France. In 2010 he moved back to Ireland, and worked as a Research Fellow and Lecturer in UCD. His teaching and research experience spans over more than 20 years, and includes positions at University of Limerick, Fudan University in Shanghai, and UCD. He is a senior member of the NCRA (Natural Computing Research & Applications) group. He has over 80 peer-reviewed publications, being the lead author in the majority of them. He has been actively involved in research since 2002, with a rich international experience in several research and education institutions.
