Public Health, Markets and Law, COMPHACRISIS MSCA Workshop, organised by Dr Mina Hosseini and Professor Imelda Maher, was held at UCD Sutherland School of Law on September 29, 2023. The event brought together researchers and experts from both inside and outside of Ireland to explore the intersection of public health, markets, and law. The workshop featured a keynote speech delivered by the Head of the Unit for Antitrust, Pharma, and Health Services at the EU Commission's Directorate General for Competition (DGCOMP). In addition to the keynote address, several researchers presented their work on topics such as competition law in the health sector, public health policy, and the impact of intellectual property law on healthcare. The workshop provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration among scholars and practitioners in these fields.

The Belonging Project creatively explores belonging and connectedness in the post-pandemic university. It is a collaboration between University College Dublin’s (UCD) College of Social Sciences and Law and the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) that celebrates belonging through word, art and motion picture. The Belonging Project exhibition includes 40 print, design, illustration, motion picture and craft pieces by NCAD Bureau+ students based on the poems, stories and autobiographical reflections of UCD students and staff. My essay on ''Home, Joyce and the Sense of Belonging'' was one of the selected pieces.
