BIO

Hong-Ngoc Tran is currently a postdoctoral research fellow in the Insight Center for Data Analytics at the University College Dublin (UCD). She obtained a Master degree in Computer Science, from the University of Science, Vietnamese National University - Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM), Vietnam. She received a Ph.D. diploma in Computer Science in 2016 from the University of Insubria, Varese, Italy. She was a lecturer at Department of Computer Network and Telecommunication, Faculty of Information Technology (FIT), University of Science, VNU-HCM, Vietnam, and at the Vietnamese-German University (VGU) in Computer Science and Mathematics. In the meanwhile, she was a scholar at Portland State University (PSU), Portland, Oregon, USA, in 2011. Additionally, she visited different labs to serve her research works, that is, National Institute of Informatics (NII), Tokyo, Japan in 2009; LAAS-CNRS, Toulouse, France in 2012; and Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Singapore, on March-April, 2017. Her research interests include applied-cryptography, security and privacy preservation in social networks, mobile networks, web service composition, cloud, and data mining. --------------------------------------------------------------------- This year (2020), I collaborate with: 1/ Prof. Susanna Pirttikangas and Hong-Tri Nguyen, University of Oulu, Finland. 2/ Prof. Dinh-Thuc Nguyen, School of Information Technology, University of Science, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City. I am reviewing the papers for conferences iSAI-NLP 2020, NLPIR 2020, Cyber Science 2020, WeST 2020, PSPTM 2020, WCCCT 2020, CCCIS 2020. I am a track chair of iSAI-NLP 2020 and a publicity co-chair of Cyber Science 2020.
