RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research focuses on international trade with a particular emphasis on foreign direct investment (FDI). This includes examining patterns of FDI, the impacts in has on local economies, and the policies that affect it. This latter focuses on taxes, which covers both tax competition among governments and the ways in which multinationals seek to minimize their tax burden.
