BIO

I am a CORU Registered Dietitian specialised in Paediatrics. I founded the Irish Food Allergy Network in 2011 and act as Secretary. I have over 30 years experience in acute clinical settings working with adults and paediatrics. Interspersed with clinical practice has been clinical and laboratory research, healthcare management and student training. Studies in project management added a new dimension to my planning and practice of nutrition service provision. Education, lecturing, training, teaching and empowering is definitely an aspect of my career I really enjoy. I have a PG Cert of Advanced Study in Paediatric Allergy from Imperial College London, a PG Diploma in University Teaching and Learning from UCD and most recently completed a Professsional PG in Neurodivergence with the School of Medicine in UCD.  

Currently, I co ordinate Module Practice Placement 1 for the Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics programme.  I also sit on the School Safety and GDPR committees
