Siddharth's research revolves around auditing, corporate governance, and financial reporting. His current projects explore topics such as auditor expertise, audit quality, audit pricing, and auditor appointment. His PhD thesis examined how institutional and retail shareholders’ votes on various corporate actions vary with the characteristics of firms, directors, and auditors. He also has an active interest in cross-disciplinary research and works on topics related to banking, international finance, financial markets, and human capital. He also serves as a reviewer for top academic journals in the auditing and corporate governance space.
