I've been a lecturer at UCD since 2003 teaching mostly into the Agricultural Science and Environmental Science Programmes and into the MSc Global Change: Environmental Science and Policy. Since 2013, I'm also a member of the UCD Earth Institute. Before I came to UCD, I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the USDA-ARS, New Mexico, USA (between 2001-2003). I got my PhD. from Colorado State University, Graduate Degree Programme in Ecology, Fort Collins, Colorado, USA. Originally, I'm from Bern, Switzerland. I studied at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland and at the Institute of Ecology and Botany of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Vacratot, Hungary.
