BIO
I am a historian working at the intersection of global history, the history of science, medicine, technology, and disability history. My PhD is in History and is from the University of Cambridge (2025). At present, my research is focussed on the history of the speech and hearing sciences, though I am interested in processes of medicalisation, marginalisation, disablement, and knowledge-construction more broadly. My first book, Communicative Bodies: Science, Disability, and Communication in Modern India, is under development.
