Profile: Associate Professor, School of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice. Head of Subject: Gender Studies. Director: MA and Graduate Diploma in Gender Studies Co-Director: UCD Centre for Gender, Feminisms and Sexualities (CGFS) Research Interests: Specialising in social economics with a particular focus on gender, equality and public policy in Ireland in an EU context. Independent researcher and policy analyst for over twenty-five years encompassing individual research as well as commissioned research for government departments, statutory agencies, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO's) and European Union (EU). Teaching: Responsible for taught Postgraduate Courses MA and Graduate Diploma in Gender Studies. Part of an interdisciplinary teaching and research team providing PhD, Masters, Graduate Diploma, undergraduate and certificate courses in Gender Studies and Equality Studies.
