I joined the Human Resource Management and Employment Relations Group in November 2017 as an Assistant Professor. My research interests lie in the broad area of the comparative analysis of labour market dynamics, in particular, flexibility and security, with a focus on multinational companies. I hold a PhD in Comparative Employment Relations from Warwick Business School (IRRU) in the UK and a Master's Degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management from the Graduate Business School, UCD. I also obtained a Master's degree (cum laude) and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Political Science at the University of Bologna. I have held visiting fellowships at the Centre for Sociological Research (KU Leuven) and at the Employment Relations Research Centre (University of Copenhagen). My paper 'The role of collective bargaining in addressing flexibility and security' ' published in the EJIR ' received the ILERA 2016 Best Paper Prize.
