Dr Gautier is a Principal Investigator in UCD Centre for Research in Infectious Diseases (CRID). Her research programme focuses on the HIV molecular pathogenesis, the Host-Virus interface and HIV Cure. Her Group core expertise lies in Cellular Biology, Molecular Virology, Epigenetics, Functional Genomics, drugs-screening assay, and pre-clinical assays. She was awarded national competitive research grants from the Irish Health Research Board (HRB), the Irish Research Council (IRC) and Entreprise Ireland (EI) to develop her research program focusing on the HIV-Host interface and HIV CURE. In parallel, she is the coordinator of the H2020 funded European EU4HIVCURE consortium, which aims to accelerate the state of the Art in HIV CURE research in Europe. Dr Gautier is actively involved in OUTREACH activities targeting secondary schools and key stakeholders. She was recently invited to give a TEDxUCD Talk entitled ' HIV CURE: What lies beneath' where she shares her insights on our HIV CURE research (
