RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr Thompson's main area of clinical research interest relates to advanced nursing practice development in the emergency and trauma settings. His academic research interest lies in measuring the impact of advanced nursing practice by demonstrating the value and sustainability of the role, its contribution to health research and its role in transforming healthcare delivery.
