Lecturer/Assistant Professor
School of Earth Sciences
University College Dublin, School of Earth Sciences, Science Centre - West Belfield Dublin 4

The overarching theme of my research is the coevolution of life and the planet, in particular how a rapidly changing climate affects marine ecosystems. My research is highly interdisciplinary and focuses on: mass extinction events, depositional systems (carbonate, clastic, and mixed), paleobiology, and the impacts of climate change (e.g. ocean acidification, high temperatures, and deoxygenation). I am currently an Assistant Professor in Paleobiology at the University College Dublin (Ireland). I have recently finished a Geo.X Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Potsdam and Museum für Naturkunde (Germany), and a Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Texas, Austin
