TEACHING INTERESTS

My teaching and supervision interests relate to later European and Mediterranean prehistory, particularly the Bronze Age and material culture studies. This has provided opportunities to teach on material culture, the prehistory of conflict and warfare, combat archaeology, archaeometallurgy, Bronze Age Europe (including a special focus on Ireland), the Aegean Bronze Age, experimental archaeology and use-wear analysis. I also am regularly involved in the running of archaeological field schools, teaching excavation and post-excavation skills.
