Organising Committee Member for the 2022 European Association of Research on Adolescence Conference

This conference theme was"Children’s Rights for a Healthy World”, and it featured presentations from six different schools across the College of Social Science and Law and the College of Health and Agricultural Sciences. The conference also included a performance on climate change and its impact on children by Ad Astra Performing Arts Scholar, Ryan O’Donnell, as well as a talk by representatives from the Youth Advisory Council. The event was opened by Professor Orla Feely, VP for Research, Innovation, and Impact followed by the Ombudsman for Children, Dr. Niall Muldoon. The Centre was particularly delighted to welcome two international keynote speakers to UCD - Professor Lisa Gibbs from the University of Melbourne and Professor Lucy Bray from the Edge Hill University in the UK who led two exciting workshops on ethical issues and playful research activities with children. The UCD ChilD Research Centre was established in 2013 with the aim of bringing together researchers from across the university working in the field of human development. The Centre currently has 60 members and aims to promote UCD's excellence in the area of children's research, as well as support interdisciplinary collaborations on research projects.

UCD Festival takes places annually. As a Chair/Member of the Youth Mental Health Lab I participate in the Festival by (co)-organizing annual events (4)
