MrsGeraldine Redmond

Geraldine’s research interests focus on radiography education, clinical competence assessment and practice-based learning. She has a particular interest in the assessment of undergraduate radiography students in clinical placement settings, including the development of fair, consistent and effective approaches to evaluating clinical competence. Her research interests also include the clinical learning environment, student experiences of clinical assessment and the preparation of students for professional practice. Her developing research programme aims to contribute to the standardisation and enhancement of clinical competence assessment in diagnostic radiography education in Ireland.
