MrsGeraldine Redmond

Geraldine contributes to undergraduate and postgraduate education in radiography and diagnostic imaging at UCD, coordinating several modules and teaching across the undergraduate and post graduate Radiography programme. As Stage 2 Coordinator and Stage 2 Clinical Coordinator, she supports students’ academic progression and clinical learning, working to facilitate the development of clinical skills, professional behaviours and competence in practice. She has a particular interest in undergraduate clinical education and supporting students’ transition from the academic environment to clinical practice. In addition, she organises continuing professional development (CPD) training in intravenous cannulation and contrast administration, supporting radiographers in developing the skills required for safe and effective clinical practice
