RESEARCH INTERESTS
My most recent research focus is on the recording and evaluation of complex and challenging sites. This research includes work with CoLab and the Open Heart City collective, looking at the future of the Sean McDermott Street Magdalene Laundry.
I have an ongoing interest in curating. With Nathalie Weadick, was curator of Ireland's pavilion at the 2008 Venice Biennale. The exhibition, The Lives of Spaces, subsequently toured Ireland and London. In 2018 I curated the Close Encounter section of the Venice Biennale with Yvonne Farrell and Shelley MacNamara, a show which also toured Ireland, in collaboration with the IAF.
