With colleagues, I led a major initiative, Building Change from 2022 - 2025, which is funded by the HEA Human Capital Initiative. www.buildingchange.ie
This project unites all six architecture courses in Ireland in transforming their undergraduate curricula to meet the challenges of the climate emergency and biodiversity loss.
As part of this project, I have been teaching an undergraduate design studio on adaptive reuse, which is called Building Life. At graduate level I have led modules focussed on the critical analysis and recording of complex urban sites. I also run seminars on the contemporary conditions of architectural production and supervise dissertations.
