TEACHING ACTIVITIES
I am the Programme Director of MSc Biological & Biomolecular Science (by Negotiated Learning). I am also involved in running numerous modules. I tremendously enjoy contact with my students and consider teaching a unique chance to instill in them a fascination and enthusiasm for science. I also deeply believe that the high quality of the student educational experience must be fair and free of bias and to ensure that, I got involved in the study investigating the presence of gender bias in the 1st year science undergraduate assessment at UCD.
I am also very interested in outreach activities. I organised, run and promoted numerous science outreach activities, including biology workshops for UCD Science Summer School and SFI Discover funded Science for Schools programme.
