DrJohn McCabe

Dr McCabe was a special lecturer in the Medicine in the Community module from 2018-2019 with the UCD School of Medicine and subsequently with the Clinical Pharmacology department from 2019-2021. He is now an assistant professor in the UCD School of Medicine and continues to deliver structured teaching sessions on stroke medicine to medical students in the Medicine in the Community module. He developed the Acute Stroke Simulation training programme for medical trainees at the Mater Hospital and has developed a postgraduate SpR training stroke curriculum for Geriatric medicine trainees.
