RESEARCH INTERESTS

My principle research area is clinical neuroimaging and I have a number of active projects and collaborations both nationally and internationally in the areas of stroke, dementia and multiple sclerosis. The focus of my PhD was advanced neuroimaging techniques. I am a member of the image perception research group and thus also involved in a number of observer performance / viewing studies which involve several imaging modalities again with several ongoing national and international collaborations. Finally, as one of the Fellows in Teaching & Academic Development and Head of Educational Development I am interested in all aspects of educational research and am currently involved in several projects in this area. I am also involved in the supervision of research students in these areas.
