RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research examines how organisations, leaders, and entrepreneurs respond to disruption, uncertainty, and strategic change. A central stream of my work focuses on organisational adaptation and dynamic capabilities, exploring how firms redesign structures, processes, and capabilities when facing technological, competitive, or environmental shifts. A second stream examines entrepreneurial processes, including how founders, ventures, and entrepreneurial ecosystems respond to failure, resource constraints, and opportunities for growth. Across these areas, I use qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods approaches, depending on the nature of the research question. I am particularly interested in research that speaks beyond academic audiences and can inform managerial practice, innovation policy, and public debates on business and society. My engagement with the wider scholarly community is also reflected in my service on the Editorial Review Boards of R&D Management, Journal of Business Venturing, and Journal of Business Research.
