His second monograph, Hitler's French Literary Afterlives, was published in 2019 by Palgrave. It was commended for 'making a very substantial contribution to the study of French cultural memory' (Dr Matt Phillips, U of Oxford, The Year’s Work in Modern Language Studies, Vol. 81, 2021) and was described as 'essential reading for literary and cultural historians of the memory of World War II in France' (Prof. Richard Golsan, U of Texas A&M).

His article 'Représenter Hitler en première de couverture d’un texte de fiction: enjeux et contraintes paratextuelles, historiques et éthiques' was the most read article of the journal Modern & Contemporary France in 2022. It is among the journal’s 30 most-read articles of all time and has drawn over 3,000 views to date.
