BIO
I joined the School of Languages, Cultures, and Linguistics in September 2017, having previously taught at the University of Chester and the University of Manchester where I completed my PhD on convent and prison spaces in Spanish film and television. My research focuses on gender, mysticism, and spirituality in contemporary Spanish cultural production, particularly in film and theatre. I am also interested in outreach and widening participation activities.
