TEACHING ACTIVITIES

I currently teach Philosophy of Education in the PME programme and Irish Childhoods in our BEd (this year, the module explores what we mean by "learning" and how it relates to childhood and children's experience and development). I previously taught/supervised the literature-based thesis module in the MEd Inclusive Education programme.

I have experience in teaching general philosophy and applied ethics courses to students from a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds. My previous teaching at DCU included modules on ethics and aesthetics, philosophy of technology, Marxist philosophy and bioethics. I also organised research methods workshops for PhD students

I am a main supervisor of one PhD student and a co-supervisor for three.

Unfortunately, I currently have no capacity to take on new PhD students and I am unlikely to respond to cold emails (especially if your proposed research involves a quantitative component).
