    Symposium
    17 Oct 2019
The Fragments Symposium is a gathering of scholars, curators, archivists and others interested in the phenomenon of the medieval manuscript fragment. Lisa Fagin Davis (Manuscript Road Trip blogger and Executive Director of the Medieval Academy of America); Christoph Flueler (Director of the Fragmentarium Project); and A.S. G. Edwards (medieval manuscript scholar, Kent) will deliver three keynote lectures which will serve as prompts for workshops or round tables throughout the day. The aim of the symposium is to explore the possibility of a shared project and/or database for Irish repositories. The symposium is of interest, therefore, to those interested in the scholarship of fragments, but also those concerned with archiving and detailing their presence in the collections.
