ProfessorSusi Geiger

ERC Grants are the most prestigious individual grants in the EU Horizon 2020/Horizon Europe programme. This grant, of €2million, has created seven research positions for early career researchers. I am the only female Business School scholar in Ireland to have been awarded this highly prestigious award.

The application leading to this award scored 96% in the expert evaluation phase in a highly competitive evaluation process with over 10,00 applicants per annum. This score was achieved across the stringent Horizon 2020 assessment thresholds for the 3 award criteria (excellence, impact, quality and efficiency of implementation), as required to receive funding from Horizon 2020. The Fellowship took place in conjunction with the University of California, Berkeley and Ecole de Mines, ParisTech.
