Assoc ProfessorTadhg Ó'Cróinín

Tadhg Ó Cróinín is an Associate Professor in the School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science. He has previously served as Head of Microbiology and Associate Dean for Study Abroad in the College of Science. He teaches students across all stages and from several Colleges. From the development of new research modules for undergraduate students to the establishment of a freshman program he has consistently sought to inspire students from different stages and backgrounds and increase engagement in the modules he is teaching. Through collaboration with colleagues from other schools and colleges as well as student societies he has achieved these goals across multiple modules. He was awarded a College of Science award for excellence in teaching in 2018 and 2024.
